Cardi B slayed the Met Gala pink carpet in an incredibly luxe gown by Thom Browne, inspired by ‘feminism’ and a ‘woman’s body’.
Or, as Cardi brilliantly referred to it, ‘the vajayjay’.
Speaking to YouTuber Liza Koshy, the Bodak Yellow rapper explained the idea behind the outfit was to ‘make it look elegant, extravagant, but not too Halloween-ish’ and described it as the ‘perfect dress’.
Taking us through the design, Cardi pointed out ‘the little boobies, vajayjay, and if you see my back, it’s like, booty’.

Those ‘little boobies’ featured ruby nipples by jewellers Stefere, which Cardi explained cost an eye-watering $250,000 (£191,298) each.
‘If I lose one of them, you know what I’m saying, I’mma have to sell my Birkin bags,’ she joked before launching into her trademark laugh.
The 26-year-old star nailed the theme of the night, Camp, or at least she did if we’re going by her own definition. ‘Camp is being yourself, being extravagant,’ she told Liza, ‘you don’t care if nobody judge you or not, it’s you.’
Seems like camp is the way Cardi lives her entire life. And we absolutely live for it.
Thanks to the similar outrageous train, some have compared the Thom Browne design to Rihanna’s iconic yellow masterpiece she wore to the 2015 event when the theme was China: Through The Looking Glass.

The last time the rapper was on a red carpet was at the Billboard Music Awards, where she apparently flashed her actual ‘vajayjay’ while posing with her husband Offset.
Cardi denied that she had showed her vagina to the paps on the carpet, and took to Instagram to give us an anatomy lesson. ‘First of all, that ain’t my pussy. My pussy right here. This right here is where I birthed my daughter from. This right here the part when I go like this, that’s just my ass. You know when you got the fat ass. That s*** gets fat right here,’ she explained while assuming the position she had while posing.
Obviously, the hitmaker didn’t stop there, continuing: ‘This the part right here, this the part that gives the dick comfort. Know what I’m saying? This the part when you go like this, in and out, that’s what this n**** feel. That’s my ass.’
We’re glad she did it on purpose at The Met as we don’t think we could handle round two – even Cardi herself admitted the video was a little ‘too much’.
